FE Mottram buys alloy processor
Specialist alloy processor Dunstan & Wragg, UK, has recently been acquired by the FE Mottram Group of companies, UK. Dunstan & Wragg provides expertise and processing facilities to manufacturers of ferro-alloys, as well as toll conversion for pure metals. Materials are routinely processed to powder form for applications such as manufacture of welding rods. Also, ferro-alloys such as ferro-titanium and ferro-aluminium are processed to various sizes, including fine powders for use by the welding industry and steel industries throughout the world. “The synergies this acquisition has brought are very exciting. It brings greater capacity and increases the package and the product range FE Mottram can offer to its customers, such as pure powders made of chromium, molybdenum and ferro-titanium”, commented Mr Dr Mojie Ahmady, FE Mottram managing director.
FE Mottram produces over 50,000 tonnes of materials and alloys every year, including aluminium casting alloys, de-oxidants, ferro-alloys and ferrous and non-ferrous powders.
