Rosendahl supplies Russian cable producer
Rosendahl Maschinen GmbH, Austria, a global supplier offering a comprehensive range of high-end cable manufacturing systems that are suitable for telecom, LAN, Minicoax, CATV, RF and microwave, optical fibre, automotive and low-voltage power cables, has recently been awarded a contract by Sevkabel, Russia, for the supply of equipment to the company’s production sites in St. Petersburg, Russia and Bendery, Moldova.
The order compromises drawing equipment, insulation lines and combined SZ-stranding and sheating lines. A special challenge was the very wide product range of different cable constructions, starting from 2 times 0.75mm2 up to 5 times 35mm2. When starting production with the new Rosendahl lines, Sevkabel is expected to set new standards on product quality within the Russian and CIS market.
