New merger in the speciality wire and cable industry
Belden Inc., USA, and Cable Design Technologies (CDT) have recently announced that both companies will merge, forming Belden CDT Inc., with a combined annual turnover of $1.3billion. Belden CDT. Inc. will combine to offer an array of well-known connectivity brands for speciality electronics, data networking, telecommunications and OEM applications. This merger will strengthen Belden’s organisation, demonstrating the group’s commitment to growth across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
