Dr Birkmann retires from Board of WAFIOS
Dr Horst Birkmann left the Board of WAFIOS earlier this year after 40 years to begin what the company termed “an active retirement”.
The ripple effect worked out as follows. Chief Executive Officer Hanns-Gerhard Rösch succeeded Dr Birkmann as Chairman of the Board. The Chief Financial Officer Thomas Hösle took over as CEO while Sales Manager Egon Reich was promoted to the Board of Directors with responsibility for WAFIOS sales worldwide.
