CORE success
Core Furnace Systems (CORE) recently commissioned four STC (Short Time Cycle) furnaces at Charter Steel’s coiling facility in Rising Sun, Ohio, USA.
The 28-tonne batch STC furnaces complete with endothermic gas generators will be used for spherodizing and lamellar pearlitic annealing of coiled rod and wire. CORE also designed and supplied the complete control and automation package.
