Promotion at Can-Eng Furnaces
Can-Eng Furnaces, a leading North American designer and manufacturer of industrial heat treating equipment, recently announced the promotion of its Vice President of Operations – Mr Alan Van Geyn – to the role of President.
CEO Mr Wally Bamford commented: “Alan Van Geyn brings extensive leadership experience to the position having held progressive management positions at Can-Eng Furnaces over the last eleven years.”
Those eleven years have seen considerable expansion in the technologies that are the driving force behind Can-Eng Furnaces’ success. The company will be featuring its latest developments in the design and manufacture of mesh belt furnace systems at wire 2006.
As a leading global producer of mesh belt furnace systems, Can-Eng can design and manufacture any or all of the components of a fully integrated and automated system including furnaces, ovens, quenches, washing systems, atmosphere generators, material handling, feeding and other components.
Can-Eng mesh belt systems have earned a reputation for their quality and capacities. Some of the systems’ advantages include: continuous production that delivers superior fastener quality; standard production capacities from 100 to 3,300kg per hour; superior part quality and repeatability of heat treatment process; an ability to address foreign material and part damage issues.

Can-Eng’s Process Enhancement Technology (PET) addresses specific needs of production efficiency and process quality in heat treat operations. PET can be included in a Can-Eng furnace installation or added to existing equipment.
