Zwick strengthens foothold in Japanese market
For the German-based testing machine manufacturer Zwick, Japan is more than a key market: it is a market with growth potential. And a core reason for this is the excellent knowledge of the Japanese market and its customers.
For this reason, Zwick GmbH & Co KG (a member of the Zwick Roell Group) recently signed a cooperation agreement with the Japanese manufacturer TKS – Tokyo Koki Seizosho – for the provision of sales and after-sales services.
An official statement to this effect was issued at the 14th International Forum for Materials Testing Technologies (held in the group’s headquarters in Germany last October) by Mitsuru Kawamatsu, a member of the TKS Board of Management.
TKS is a stock corporation selling materials testing machines and systems with its headquarters in Tsukui-gun, in the Prefecture of Kanagawa, west of Tokyo.
Dr Jan Stefan Roell, CEO of Zwick Roell AG, stressed the importance of this agreement: “The cooperation with TKS meshes first-class market knowledge and a solid sales and service network with mature, globally leading products. This joint venture offers us the opportunity to best meet the demands of the Japanese market and, at the same time, grow our organisations.”
