Varnishing partners sought
Electroizolit is a leading producer of varnishes for copper wire enamelling in Russia and is currently seeking new partners for ongoing research projects.
The company produces varnishes and compounds for the impregnation of electrical windings, electro-insulating coating enamels, bonding varnishes, varnishes for pressed plastics and other composite materials for the electro-technical and electronics industries.
Since 2004, Electroizolit has been producing a new generation of varnishes for copper wire enamelling for high-speed aggregates with TI 155 and TI 180. These varnishes can be used to produce two-layer wire in combination with polyamide-imide varnishes. New varnishes have been successfully tested at many cable plants.
The company is continuing to conduct a wide range of research in varnishing technology and the physics- and chemistry-related aspects of enamelling.
Electroizolit produces a wide range of composite materials such as varnished and glass-varnished cloths, pressed plastics (cloth and glass-cloth laminates, foil-clad glass-cloth laminates), wound electrical insulation materials, shaped glass plastics and insulation materials based on natural mica.
The company has a research and develop-ment centre to test new materials. This is fitted with modern equipment for analysing the results of physics and chemical experiments.
