Ascometal orders Techint’s STC furnace
Techint Technologies is supplying a 28-tonne per charge Short Time Cycle (STC) furnace
for annealing wire and rod coils to be installed at Ascometal’s plant in Fos sur Mer, France.
Techint will also supply one transfer car, two stationary tables, one tilting device, Level 1 control and one 150 Nm3/h endothermic generator.
Techint comments: “STC furnaces enable the end-user to improve the final product in terms of quality, performance and cost-saving. This fourth European order represents a further confirmation of Techint’s superiority for high technology in heat treating furnaces.”
