RFS grows with new office in Greece
Wireless technology group, Radio Frequency Systems (RFS) has established a new office in Greece. Located in the centre of Athens, the new premises will facilitate access to wireless technology not only for Greece,
but also Cyprus and the general Balkan region to the north.
To support this, RFS has also established a local logistics centre to stock and distribute selected products to the region. The company says it will be able to respond quickly to specific regional requirements, and assist in the expansion of both second and third generation networks.
Harald Zietz, Director of RFS Hellas, comments: “Greece is making a remarkable and positive impact on growth in this region. The country is now looking to extend its coverage of mobile third-generation services out of the bigger cities and into the isles where the tourism industry is a strong driver. Wireless development happened very quickly here, so now it’s a matter of going back and filling in the gaps – in buildings, tunnels and metros,” says Zietz.
