| The cable and fibre optic division of the French company Delachaux Group, DEXTER, has recently announced the signature of an exclusive partnership with agreement with APSwissTech, a Swiss company specialising in the field of transformation of plastic and composite materials. APSwissTech is also the company who recently took over the assets of former Swisscab SA. This partnership agreement was concluded in a spirit of a long term technical co-operation. Both companies� complementary specialisations will provide them with the opportunity of asserting themselves as some of the major production line suppliers for composite pipes, irrigation tubes, fibre optic cables as well as copper cables.
For many years, DEXTER has been designing and manufacturing production equipment and systems that are suitable for the copper data and LAN cable industry as well as for building wires, LV power cables, special cables and fibre optic cables. The company�s product range includes, among others, machines for:
- Non-ferrous stranding and sheathing: Rollertwist stranding lines, taping lines, insulation and jacketing;
- Fibre optic production: fibre optic draw tower (glass and plastic), proof-testing machine, colouring;
- Fibre coating and jacketing: loose tube line, microtube, tight buffer (extrusion, UV-cured), ribbon, premises, distribution lines, Jacketing, OPGW tube, SZ Stranding.
