| Bartell Machinery Systems LLC, USA, has announced the recent purchase of certain assets of Ceeco Manufacturing Ltd., a leading company in the manufacture of metallic rotating and twinning equipment (refer to Nextrom press release within this section of the magazine). This purchase expands Bartell�s products and services in the energy, data and gas/oil exploration sectors, and also includes the employment of a core group of skilled professionals from Ceeco�s sales, engineering and service departments. These individuals will integrate with the existing Bartell support structure to enable a smooth and seamless transition of the operation into Bartell as well as maintaining a familiar customer contact framework.
Ceeco�s innovative designs and technologically advanced product line of metallic rotating and twinning equipment, which includes stranders, high-speed twinners, roll forming, wrapping and armouring machines, planetary and rigid-frame cablers, will complement Bartell�s existing wire industry products. This expanded product range will enable Bartell to meet the growing needs of its customers. Existing Ceeco products will continue to be supported from a Toronto (Canada) office base, with product being manufactured and supplied from Bartell�s facility. Customer contact will remain unaffected via existing telephone, fax and e-mail addresses. Mr Jerry L. Eisenhart, president of Bartell, stated: �We are excited about this purchase and our future together, our intention is to continue the manufacture of Ceeco�s fine line of equipment and provide replacement parts and service, seamlessly around the world, wherever they are needed.
