| After announcing last September 2003 taking-over of the complete records and rights from the German company Maschinenfabrik Bongard GmbH to build Bongard�s machines and lines, Maschinenfabrik Niehoff GmbH & Co. KG, Germany, has recently announced that Maschinenfabrik H�ttner GmbH, Germany, a longstanding Bongard supplier, has also acquired extensive know-how, in particular in terms of cable coilers intensively promoting the development of these products.
Niehoff�s future focus is to complete its wire coiler range, especially for medium wire drawing lines and galvanic plating lines. For this reason, both companies split-up the product range of the former Maschinenfabrik Bongard as follows: Niehoff will continue to offer Bongard coilers and spoolers for wires made of non-ferrous metals, including wire coilers for galvanic plating lines under the name �Niehoff System Bongard�. H�ttner will offer, as an own product line, the cable coilers and all products for the steel wire sector, including vertical spoolers, rolling mills, and pay-off stations of the former Bongard programme. This split-up of the product range applies also to the spare parts supplies and the customer service for machines which were delivered from Bongard in the past. Moreover, the contracting partners agreed support each other in sales and service.
