| The new and improved dates for wire China 2004, China International Wire and Cable Trade Fair, are 22 to 25th September, at the Shanghai International Expo Centre (SNIEC). The adjustment to this earlier date has been approved and welcomed by the major P.R China sponsoring industry organisations, as well as the Shanghai Municipal Foreign Economic Relation and Trade Commission. All the western supporting Associations in Europe and the USA have maintained their space bookings status, with some increases, and endorsed the adjustment as a more appropriate date, which for certain industry sector interests, avoids otherwise conflicting show dates in the USA.
Wire China 2004 has already attained the support of national government supported group exhibits from Germany (supported by the VDKM), Italy (supported by the ACIMAF), France (supported by IWCEA-France), Austria (supported by AWCMA), USA (supported by WCISA) and the International Wire & Machinery Association (IWMA). These same European national governments have extended their support to exhibitors at Tube China 2004, which will be a large presentation, jointly organised by Messe D�sseldorf China and the MC-CCPIT, and sponsored by the International Tube Association (ITA) in adjacent halls on the same dates. Recent events have proven the success and accessibility of the new world class SNIEC halls to visitors from Shanghai and other Chinese provinces, with attendance records exceeding 39,000 at the premiere staging of a printing show, �All In Print China 2003� exhibition. Similar visitor promotional activities supported by the Chinese partners and sponsors of wire China 2004 will be applied to its forthcoming success.
