| The general trend towards quality management, quality assurance, and certification of compliance with quality standards has brought about an upsurge in measuring and testing technologies. These fields are changing and developing dynamically, not least due to innovations in manufacturing technology and new manufacturing methods and processes cannot be implemented effectively without new testing methods.
This years trade fair will be held from 20 to 23 October 2003 at the factory of the German company Zwick. The members of the Zwick Roell AG Group and partner companies will be exhibiting their newest range of measuring and testing systems. Instead of conventional exhibition stands, �centres� dedicated to various fields of testing and measurement will be set-up. Standard materials testing applications will be prominently featured including metal, plastic, paper, automotive applications, textiles, food products, building materials.
However, product-related stands will be set-up for particularly interesting application areas such as hardness testing and testing software to illustrate their growing significance in the testing machine market. Furthermore, exhibitors will demonstrate the benefit of enhancing the performance of existing equipment. Presentations and discussion forums will be held in English and in German with well-known experts providing the latest trends and developments in their particular fields.
