| Well-known across the UK for the design and manufacture of high-quality concrete batching plants and silos, Antar Equipment Ltd has recently diversified its activities by establishing a new division, AntarReels, specialisng in the manufacture of steel cable reels. Mr John Clarke, formerly with the Askern Group and Zoto Engineering, heads the new division.
Mr Clarke commented: �Antar Equipment has the manufacturing expertise to offer a viable and economic alternative steel reel supply within the UK. We started in October 2002 and we have already designed and manufactured reels, both large and small diameters, for the wire rope, electric cable and offshore industries. It is our intention to continue to expand our operations into Europe�.
