Maillefer delivers 250th dry cure CV-line
Maillefer has recently announced the delivery of its 250th dry cure CV-line, and also announces that three different customer orders for the China and Middle East regions have just pushed the total number to 251. Commercial activities with CV-lines began in 1976 when Maillefer introduced the famous completely dry curing and cooling (CDCC) method to the market. The CDCC process was a success from the start and soon became an industry standard. Today, Maillefer's world-wide cumulative market share in CV-lines is estimated to be 60%, a figure that positions the company as a market leader. The company has stayed on top of both the CV-line market and the technology. 220 catenary CV and 31 vertical CV lines have been delivered throughout all continents in 42 countries. These figures are composed of 115 medium-voltage lines, 68 high-voltage lines and 68 extra high-voltage lines.

Mr Kari Kuosmanen, CV-line sales, commented: Our success in CV-lines is based on advanced technology, mutual trust with customers and an understanding that power cable manufacturing needs economical and safe solutions without compromise. Maillefers line concepts are a collection of experiences from around the world. Feedback from users relates numerous success stories and confirms full customer satisfaction.
