Spanish company has it taped
Gotex manufactures all kinds of waterblocking yarns, fire retardant tapes and insulating tapes for the cable industry.
Its range of products includes coated yarns used for strengthening (glass yarns with PU coating, waterblocking yarns), ripcords, PP foamed tapes and woven tapes to protect cables against bullets, rodents, fire and water (Aramid tapes, glass woven tapes and waterblocking tapes). Additionally the Spanish company has recently launched hot-melt yarns – Aramid and/or glass – fully PVC compatible glass yarns with PU and new extra thinner glass tapes for rodent and fire protection.
Founded in 1947, Gotex exports its products to more than 30 countries. David Ferré, the company’s Export Manager, says: “One of Gotex’s main advantages is its quick reaction to enquiries and orders, as well as flexibility in always trying to adapt to the customer's requirements be it product features, packing or capacities per box.”
