Since 1953, Neptco has engineered materials for commercial, industrial and military applications, including advanced polymeric coatings and laminates of films, foils, fibres, composites, papers, non-wovens, and custom formulated adhesives. It offers contract manufacturing and product design services, with in-house capabilities for coating, laminating, printing, slitting and weaving.
The company is a leading manufacturer of composite strength elements, outside plant products, and flexible products for the wire and cable industry. Product offerings include multi-ply shielding tapes, heat seal and pressure-sensitive coated films and laminates, as well as water blocking tapes and GRP rod.
Flexible products include multi-ply shielding tapes (such as High-Draw®); heat seal and pressure sensitive coated films and laminates; foil-free edged tapes; screening, separator, marker, and barrier/binder tapes (including Powerline® tapes for power cables); high performance PTFE tapes for rugged applications; and the new AquaBlok® line of water blocking tapes. Neptco’s proprietary Permablok™ water blocking coatings can be applied to both shielding tapes and GRP rod to prevent water migration in installed wire and cable.
Neptco’s non-metallic strength elements for fibre optic and copper cables include: Lightline®, a rigid composite of fibreglass and epoxy; Fiberbundle®, a semi-rigid, round GRP for peripheral cable reinforcement; and the family of Flexline® products, which includes Araglass™, InstantDry®, SoftStrand® and UltraStrand™.
Neptco’s manufacturing and sales facilities are located in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA. Additional manufacturing sites include Lenoir and Granite Falls, North Carolina, and Bresles, France.
