Tecno Impianti fastens on success
Italian company Tecno Impianti designs and manufactures wire drawing machines
for the wire and fastener industries, as well as cold rolling lines for the construction industry.
For the fastener industry, horizontal power-driven uncoilers are manufactured for cold heading wires from 12.7–35mm. The weight of the coils can be up to 2,500kg. They are used to feed wire to cold heading machines or in-line wire drawing machines and can also be supplied in the double arm version, for further reduction of downtime. They may be equipped with some optional devices, such as additional straightening rolls, cut-off unit, chamfering unit.
In cold rolling lines, used in the construction industry for the production of smooth and ribbed wire for welded mesh or lattice girders, the wire is fed by a vertical uncoiler, with two coil-holding arms. The wire-end of the first coil can be welded to the wire-head of the next coil, thus avoiding downtime. Wire can be taken-up with either horizontal or vertical spoolers. Usually on these lines the finish wire diameter is from 4–12mm. The vertical spoolers can be supplied also as the double reel version. While the operator is still unloading or binding the full reel, the line has already started working with the next empty reel.
