Wire stranding machine with auto batch loading

Of particular interest is the recently developed high-speed 61 (1+6+12+18+24) bobbins (630mm DIN) rigid wire stranding machine, type ASR, with automatic floor batch loading system, and particularly suitable for the production of quality copper / aluminium / almelec conductor. Automatic row by row bobbin loading/unloading is made at the touch of a single button in 40 seconds. The loading is done using microprocessor controlled motorised bobbin pintles and hydraulic floor loaders provided on each cage. Uniform wire tension throughout stranding is achieved by bobbin diameter sensor arms. The machine stops instantaneously on wire breakage monitored by electronic detectors provided on each bobbin. The machine incorporates a sophisticated PLC system for the control of complete line, safety interlocks, operating parameters and for fault diagnosis.
