ADVA Optical Networking, Germany, the second largest global provider of optical networking solutions for the metropolitan area, offers its FSP (Fibre Service Platform) portfolio that comprises optical networking products designed specifically for the delivery of high-speed services and network infrastructure in the metropolitan area.
Employing leading technologies such as Coarse and Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM/DWDM) and Time Division Multiplexing (TDM), the FSP systems enable up to 512 applications ranging from speeds of 8Mbit/s to 10Gbit/s to be transported over a single fibre pair up to 500km. The modular design and flexible architecture options enable the most comprehensive and cost-effective solutions for customer premise, metro access, and metro core networks.
