Pre-heaters for up to 50mm2 cross section wires
KA-BE-MA Engineering GmbH, Germany, provides the industry with a full range of wire pre-heaters, Digitherm series, that has recently been extended. The company’s pre-heaters now cover cross sections ranging from 0.02 up to 50mm2 at temperature reaching up to 300°C. The applied induction-frequency of up to 650Hz ensures an even heating of the conductor at speeds of up to 2,500m/min. All devices are equipped with standard components of Siemens, such as S7-PLC, Operator-Panel, Converter. The production direction is reversible. As option, the company’s new pre-heaters can be supplied with an integrated capstan, a tension-control, a closed loop temperature-control and Profibus-Interface.
