Continuous heat treatment line for fasteners
Based on a successful programme of cast plate conveyor belt furnace plants, Aichelin GmbH, Austria, has recently extended its plant concept, proven in the automotive industry, by a construction series with smaller throughput performance, that is particularly suitable for the thermal treatment of small fastening elements.
The new series is characterised by an inside lying wire link belt with conduction, and enables all larger plants options, in particular the execution with locks. Depending upon the selected execution variant, these plants are suitable for hardening and tempering (throughput performance of approximately 300kg/h), carburising or carbonitriding (throughput performance of approximately 120kg/h). With the new belt-type furnace plants, smaller and medium sized fastening elements, such as screws starting from M4 to M20, get heat-treated at very favourable operating costs and with very high-quality and reliability.
