Extra-fine copper stranded conductors
Established in 1992 to satisfy the specific requirements of the cable industry for special, high technology cables, and benefiting today from its new 1,500m2 production unit equipped with the most efficient machinery available, Inserlec, France, specialises in the manufacture of very fine conductors composed of single wires of diameters as fine as 0.0254mm. New machinery offers greater capacity in the stranding of 7 up to 127 fine wires for the composition of stranded conductors that can accommodate very thin wall insulation as well as mechanical applications.
Inserlec caters to specific requirements of every customers, helping them where necessary to define their needs, and produces stranded conductors according to customers's specifications, whatever the quantity, from a few kilos to several tonnes. The company’s core activity is the manufacture of stranded conductors made from bare copper, tin-plated copper, silver-plated copper, nickel-plated copper, bare or plated copper alloys, pure silver or nickel, bronze or brass alloys, as well as hard and soft steel wires. Thanks to its high technology and strict controls, the French company's stranded wires for the cable industry are mainly used in the leading edge of technology, such as medicine, aeronautics, aerospace, automotive (on-board electronics), data transmission, computers, military, petrol research and production, robotics (flexible cables), TGV (French High-Speed Train).
