Drawing machines are computer-controlled to guarantee the production of torsion-free drawn wire that fulfils the highest standards. Künne’s continual diameter control on all drawing tools ensures an optimum accuracy of gauge control and highly developed technologies, making it possible to deliver the highest quality and precision, down to 0.2mm wire gauge. Pneumatically regulated, wire tension produces an even operating behaviour from the reels that have been spooled in this way.
The high-carbon wire range features special wire drawing steels with tensile strength specifications for the most diverse purposes, such as steel wire ropes, technical springs, upholstery springs, flat wires, sieve weaves, bending parts, steel brushes, flexible shafts, hose reinforcing, blasting grain for surface hardening tested to HV1. In terms of low-carbon wires, the company offers special wires with tensile strength according to customer specifications, such as square sections to DIN 178, shaped wires, or special qualities. The company also delivers iron wires in many gauges coiled layer-on-layer.
