Highly competitive multiblock drawing machine
Founded in 1987 and specialising in the design and manufacture of wire handling and packaging lines, Automat Industrial SL, Spain, also provides the wire industry with a complete production wire lines including drawing machines, as well as galvanizing and other wire coating and low relaxation lines. Automat drawing machines are designed for heavy and constant duty and maximum performance. Providing minimal and easy maintenance, these ergonomic drawing machines take into account the necessary power for mechanical descaling (energy savings), which can be integrated in a single production supply if required. Pulling capstans are manufactured in in hard-metal, ceramic, tungsten carbide, etc. The transmission is realised through standardised high-efficiency helical gear reducers. Automat drawing machines also include die boxes with direct and indirect cooling, with rotary or pressures dies. Cold rolling cassettes instead of die boxes are also available as an option. These machines are built according to the most stringent international safety and environmental standards.
Automat also supplies inverted bullblock drawing machines for simple or double block. These machines are designed to draw wire with low down time, either in one pass or two passes, with good ergonomics and efficient operations. They are specifically designed for the production of cold heading material and heavy spring wires, as well as wires that require a long transformation process and various drawing phases. Of particular interest is the company’s recently developed high-technology and highly competitive multiblock drawing machine of PLP Limited dancer type, designed to optimise drawing operations. This new drawing machine features complete coiler, drawing die and horizontal spooler, as well as tilting block of PLP type, DC or AC high-efficiency transmissions, effective method of water inter-cooler, simple and flexible robust mechanisms which provide a great operation ergonomy, maximum mechanical and electronic quality and the Automat control software which allows fully automatic cycles without intervention by the operator.
