Dimensional measuring perfection in-line
Formerly known as Bruno Richter, BA-Meßtechnik GmbH, Germany, has more than 40 years experience in the manufacture of in-line testing technology suitable for the wire and cable industry. The company’s latest developments include the QS-Line “laser diameter” gauges for contactless diameter and profile measurement of wires and cables. Of particular interst is also the company’s latest optical monofilament fibre measurement system, FM2, designed for continuous, 100% diameter and lump control of all fibres.
Furthermore, BA-Meßtechnik has recently introduced a new cable joint detector, model AB4, designed to locate joints, soldings and weldings in the production of cables. The company also offers RK2, an in-line cable marker that marks in-line plastic insulated electric wires and cables with colour rings. RK2 is a further development of the company’s successful RK1 model.
