Inosym’s reels and drums

Inosym offers an extensive range of reels and drums suitable for all types of wire and cable manufacturing processes, including fine wire drawing, high-speed extrusion and lay-up stranding operations.
To complement the existing product range, Inosym has developed the Super Tough reel range, which consists of an ABS reel designed to run at speeds of up to 3000rpm and for use in wire drawing, bunching, stranding and transportation applications.
Super Tough reels are compatible with most machines, plus the key advantage they have over the standard mild steel reel is weight.
The Super Tough reel is one third of the weight of the equivalent mild steel reel, and offers a number of benefits, includ-ing easier machine loading, reduced machine wear, easier operator handling and transport, compact storage and environmental durability.
Super Tough reels are available in the two standard sizes of 22" (560mm) and 25" (630mm), with bores of 5" (127mm) and various traverse widths.
