Roblon’s RW800-680 rewinder
The Roblon RW800-680 rewinder is designed to rewind quite a number of different round, oval and square products. It consists of one pay-off, one dancer, and one take-up. Rewinding can be undertaken when making various tests on the cable or when using customers’ bobbins, where a measured length is to be wound.
Usually there will be a number of test and measuring instruments attached to the line for the measurement of length, diameter control, lump detection, spark testing and shortening. Also, printing on the cable and/or a label printer might be used. The rewinder line also forms the basis of Roblon’s high-speed tape application line, with which a caterpillar is added along-
side tape binders for running tape pads or cross-wound tape bobbins with diameters of up to 400mm.
