Rugged decoiler for all environments
The WSM range, from Ultimation, now includes a rugged and powerful decoiler for all environments. This unit has been designed with a high-powered AC drive and a pneumatically operated speed con-trol arm capable of providing proportional acceleration and deceleration. This allows the WSM to decoil at the wide range of speeds required during the forming process.
Ultimation’s WSM range is available for wire diameters of from 0.3 to 10mm and for coil weights of up to 2000kg.
It is capable of operating with pay-off speeds of up to 150m/min, but higher speed models are also available. The decoiler is supplied complete with an anti-snagging ring and
a ‘top hat’ for easy changeovers.
