The full works from Caballé

Caballé offers a full range of pay-offs and take-ups specially designed to work in stranding, cabling, extrusion and rewinding lines.

The company’s range includes:

high-speed driven pay-offs and take-ups for insulated conductors and bobbins with diameters of from 500 to 1000mm;
tilting pay-offs and take-ups for bare and insulated conductors and bobbins with diameters of from 500 to 2000mm;
column type pay-offs and take-ups;
portal type pay-offs and take-ups; and
self-traversing pay-offs and take-ups for reels with diameters of up to 4000mm and capacities of up to 30 tonnes. The company’s manufacturing programme also includes pay-offs and take-ups specially designed for specific applications such as:
backtwist (double twist) pay-offs for LAN and telecommunications cables;
single twist pay-offs (neutralisers) for control and special cables; and
driven pay-offs for optical fibres, tight buffers and loose tubes.

All of the pay-offs and take-ups can be supplied with different tension control options, including pneumatic brake, driven torque controlled and driven with a dancer, according to each specific application.
