A wide variety from Fine
Fine International offers a wide variety of pay-off and take-up systems for wires, cables and fibre optic applications. Shaft style pay-off machines are available for reels with flange diameters of from 250 to 800mm (10" to 32") and units can be supplied in drag or driven mode.
Multiple station units for fibre optic loose tube lines include catenary arm dancers for precise tensioning of each fibre, and a range of shaftless pay-off systems for
500 to 1800mm (20" to 72") reels are manu-factured to customer specifications based on the required line speed and overall reel weight. Custom designs are also available.
Fine’s take-up units include belt or independently driven traverse units. Portal style units are available for reel sizes of from 1250 to 3000mm (48–120"), and take-up versions include independent traverse assemblies, traversing reel or floor traversing.
Automatic crossover take-ups are available for reel sizes of from 500 to 1000mm (24–40"), and semi-automatic units can be designed for reel sizes of up to 1800mm (72"). Fine also manufactures a line of Figure 8 reel-less spoolers, which can be used in stand-alone respool lines or as part of an extrusion line system.
Fine International provides a complete range of dancers and accumulators, which provide feedback control signals to any style of pay-off or take-up machine. In addition to individual components, the company offers complete extrusion lines particularly for nitrogen-foamed products, plus primary and jacketing extrusion lines.
Fine also supplies capstans, cooling troughs, extruders, tapers, binders, preheaters, braiders, SZ stranders, respoolers, corruga-ting lines and TIG welding lines.
