Drum and disc brakes

Established in 1960 in Milan, Italy, Coremo Ocmea currently manufactures a wide range of brakes, which are extensively used in the worldwide wire and cable industry.

New products recently developed by Coremo include:

the Dual series of caliper disc brakes. These have both air-applied and spring-applied thrusters for tensioning and safety stopping in cable pay-off or planetary stranders;
the Airing series of radial drum brakes, for holding applications in coil winding lines and wire drawing machines; and
the new Modulo series of agile and compact fan-cooled brakes for tensioning applications where a high thermal capacity is required.
