SANP eyes overseas expansion
SANP is a Chinese company specialising in the manufacture of high-speed braiding machines.
It set new sales and production records in 2005 – turnover reached US$20m on the back of sales of more than 1600 machines.
The company says: “Our machines have been sold to more than 20 countries such as Japan, Korea, Turkey, Italy, Indonesia, USA, UK, India, Vietnam and so on. Exports account for some 30% of our total sales. We are now looking for foreign partners to help us expand in overseas markets. Our goal is to ensure that SANP’s machines are number one in the world.”
The company employs more than 40 tech-nologists to pursue its programme of technical innovation to keep its machines at the cutting edge of development.
SANP has developed its range of HGSB
high-speed braiders over the last 15 years. It has ten models available with various numbers of spindles and is currently developing a further three.
The company adds: “We have also developed a machine which specialises in steel wire for shipboard and marine cables. This kind of machine has good sales prospects in China, Japan and Korea.”
