Quality control instruments
Eldes specialises in monitoring systems to measure the force deve-loped in the production process by cold forming machines.
The company’s brands are the Prometeus 2K series with versions from three to six stations and the Helios 2K with versions up to 2 stations.
Key features are the control of: peak value; waveform; special points defined through the menu; KN/tonnes valorisation; B/W LCD display 240 x 128 pixels; and 6+2/6+6 versions with SVGA TFT LCD 10½" external display.
Both have Eldes’ patented method to mathematically reduce the interference produced by the forces operating on the other stations. For thread rollers Eldes has Titanus 2K, with versions from two to four sensors. Key features are the control of: peak value; waveform; introduction instant; duration; expulsion; driving of a selection device; B/W LCD display 240 x 128 pixels; guided regulation; and positioning.
New features of the control instruments Prometeus, Titanus, and Helios include the advantage to read the dimensional measurements performed with digital instrumentation and to use them both as SPC and data collecting terminals. All the equipment – from the simple terminal Echo, to the PC-based, touch screen instrument Theseus – operates with the same user-friendly program.
