Banishing human error in die processing

Willi Bremer’s latest developments in the field of drawing die processing machines are the KSP1 and EK2000F. These are designed to efficiently process small-sized tungsten carbide dies with diameters from 0.10–1.50mm. Using computerised technology and built-in electronic systems, the dies are automatically processed to the meeting point on the KSP1 unit.

After that the dies are taken over by EK2000F unit to be automatically calibrated to the desired finish size. These latest developments eliminate human error and produce a perfectly controlled die quality in a most efficient way.

The system checks the bore diameter and continuously monitors the whole cycle to ensure very close tolerances for radii, angle and bore diameter. Together, says the company, these machines can achieve outstandingly precise tolerances.
