Ajex offers two types of carbide die
working machines – TCD-11 and TCD-12 –suitable for small-, medium- or large-scale wire drawing units.
The horizontal type TCD-11 can grind and enlarge the bore of the die as well as polish it with suitable pins and abrasive powders. The TCD-11 in-house die repairing machine has a fixed spindle speed of 6000rpm
and a variable stroke length in the range
0-40mm. Die sizes from 0.80–60mm can
be reconditioned.
The TCD-12 (tilting type vertical) has been developed for working on the reduction and bearing portion of tungsten carbide dies of sizes from 0.5–15mm. It has a high speed grinding spindle with a fixed speed of 2000rpm. The maximum casing size is 60mm with a 30° tilting angle.
