Koner researching for the future of dies
Koner SpA – not to be confused with its sister company, Koner Dies Srl – is a leading company in the field of wire drawing dies, committed to research and innovation in this vital field.

Its most recent innovations are easy-to-dismantle pressure dies with replaceable drawing nibs. The range includes: wet drawing dies with replaceable nibs; special pressure dies for diameters up to 15mm with replaceable drawing dies; and wet drawing dies with disposable nibs.
The hardness and toughness of Koner’s sintered carbide products considerably increase die life and wire surface quality because of the use of special micro-grain powders and new additives specially developed for wire drawing.
Koner produces the following items in tungsten carbide: nibs for wire drawing, drawing dies, wire guides. It also supplies machinery and equipment for grinding tungsten carbide and natural and synthetic diamond drawing dies. Additionally the company provides technical assistance and personnel training on die equipment.
