Optimizing quality and output at Mapré
From conception to production, Mapré – part of the Gauder Group – favours technical solutions producing high performance single screw extruders at "attractive prices".
These are easily integrated into new or existing lines, thanks to the Flexiline (PLC on the machine) and Map (computer supervision system) control concepts.
The comprehensive range from 15 up to 150mm with L/D ratio of 25, 30 or 35 according to application is in constant development for extrusion of PE, PVC, FEP, PA, PP, PVDF, HFFR, PUR and rubber.
The compact extruders, from 15–80mm, operate directly thanks to the 'Plug and Play' concept and benefit from a strong machine frame, built-in electrical cabinet and ergonomic control desk.
A fixed-head model, available for extruders from 15–60mm, enables perfect alignment of the extrusion head while facilitating cleaning and tool-change operations. A Quick Tool Change system is available on request and reduces downtime by using two crossheads: while one is running, the second is in pre-heating mode and ready to start the next production run.
Using a 3-D CAO development system, screw profiles are examined and designed taking the compound characteristics into account in order to optimize the mixing quality and the output of the melt.
