Witels Albert is a global supplier of straighteners and guides for a wide variety of materials.
The company has recently developed new roller straightening and guiding units, as well as new rollers for specific applications including wire drawing.
New products incorporating defined and reproducible roller adjustment for straightening units types ER MB and ER PO are introduced together with the easy to use software program SimDATA.
Witels Albert says: “With the correct straightening technique on the one hand and the knowledge about the necessary roller settings in the other, customers
are able to optimise their straightening processes. A higher final product quality
at lower production costs can be expected. The lower costs result from a lower consumption of material, time and labour in the daily routine of setting up straightening units.”
A new feature on all straightening units
for wire sizes between 0.8-25mm is the possibility for changing the rolls without using any tools.
With a simple fingertip, worn rolls or rolls with different grooves can be changed in fraction of a second.
