New system to weld grating panels on frames
Cemsa, which manufactures both spot
and seam resistance welding systems,
has developed a new machine – Roboseam-CNC-GP – to weld grating panels on tubular or flat frames, in order to obtain a product of high aesthetical and mechanical quality.
The grating panel can be of normal or stainless steel wires with a diameter up to 5mm. The frame, if tubular, must have a thickness able to support a mechanical action, but flat frames can have practically no limits. The piece to be produced can reach dimensions of 1000 x 2000mm.
The welding head pressure is managed, like all welding parameters, directly
from the control system. The machine’s flexibility allows its use for other applications like metal sheet welding, provided that the welding itself has a path on horizontal planes.
