| Established in 1984, Tensor Fiber Optic Technologies manufactures a full range of equipment dedicated to the production of fibre optic and copper cables. The company provides the fibre optic cable industry with a wide range of machinery, which includes UV-colouring lines; ribbon lines; ribbon take-ups; ribbon stranders; secondary coating lines, yarn servers; premise jacketing lines; as well as computerised operator interface systems.
Tensor Fiber Optic Technologies, who has branched into the copper cable and hose markets with some inovative equipment, also provides the industry with a wide portfolio of SZ-standing lines, including dual wheel capstans, cold filling systems, binder heads, SZ-oscillators, loose tube pay-offs; and corrugated tape lines comprising tape pay-offs, seam welders, tape accumulators, corrugators, Mylar tape pay-offs and roll formers. Processing lines are available from Tensor with computerised operator interface systems. Electrical requirements and PLC controls can also be customised to suit plant requirements.
