| ACM AB, Sweden, provides the industry with its off-line measuring unit KSM, designed for cables, tubes and profiles. The KSM off-line measuring unit, a technology based upon 14 years of experience, allows measuring at the highest accuracy both in terms of absolute measured value, as well as repeatability in order to study process variations. The repeatability accuracy of the KSM makes it a versatile analytical tool for the production process, while conventional measuring techniques utilising such devices as profile projectors, measuring microscopes, etc. are not adequate as their repeatability error exceeds process variations.
To complement the measuring unit, the company also supplies an innovative programme, KSM Filter, developed to analyse measured values from KSM working also in the normal office environment. KSM Filter can also be installed at a normal office computer.
