Cadmium-free alloy conductors
Fisk Alloy Conductors Inc., USA, develops and processes copper alloys in wire to meet specific engineering and product requirements. The company also manufactures copper alloy wires and cables for applications found in aerospace, automotive, medical and micro-electronic markets and sold under the brand name Percon. Engineered to be drop-in replacements for cadmium-based alloy conductors, these conductors are cadmium-free and are available as single-end wires, in stranded or bunched constructions, on bobbin or electroplated with nickel, silver or tin. The Percon range includes: - Percon 17 that replaces soft cadmium copper; - Percon 19 that replaces hard cadmium copper; - Percon 24 that replaces PD135.

Fisk Alloy is also the largest North American producer of flat, round and square wires in both commercial and high-performance copper alloys, bare or electroplated for electronic connectors and components.
