| Incorporating Hearl Heaton, a world leader in ABS (plastic flanged) high-speed process reels suitable for the international wire, cable, telecommunication and fibre optic industry, Pentre Group, UK, designs, manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of high-speed plastic ABS process reels ranging from 250 to 1,000mm �. This range of plastic reels, PF/OF series, is perfectly suitable for optical fibre tubing and manufactured according to both DIN 46395 and Imperial standards.
These in-process lightweight take-up reels also access to the inner end of the optic fibre for test purposes, as well as catering for extrusion process speeds of up to 1,000m/min and multi-trips transportation journeys between factories. The barrels are manufactured from seam-welded aluminium alloy and painted according to customers� specification. Available as standard, Pentre ABS process reels type PF/OF series are available with options, such as non-standard traverse widths, barrel sizes, materials and surface finishes, etc.
