| Sikora AG, Germany, a world-wide operating company providing the wire and cable industry with diameter measuring, controlling and testing equipment, has recently launched a new DC spark tester, suitable for testing telephone wires and mini coax cables. Featuring a bead chain electrode, this new equipment provides a test voltage of 7.5kV. Branded SPARK 2020-DC, the new model meets the BS 5099 specification. Together with this new DC spark tester, the company�s series of high-frequency spark testers and the company�s AC tester, three models are now available for each of the common applications.
Sikora also offers a series of diameter gauge heads, models LASER 2025S and LASER 2060S suitable for flat and round products. These new models respectively provide a diameter width measurement with highest precision and reliability for round as well as flat products. The LASER 2025S (for product � ranging from 0.2 to 25mm) and LASER 2060S (for product � ranging from 0.2 to 60mm), also offer various interfaces for adapting the gauge to a process control computer or to the processor-based display and control system REMOTE 2000 or the panel PC ECOCONTROL 2000.
Furthermore, Sikora offers a new powerful processor-based display device, branded DISPLAY 2000, that serves the company�s series of measuring and testing equipment of the INLINE 2000 series. It is suitable for panel mounting or for installation on the gauge head. The DISPLAY 2000 offers a large and clear display with a digit height of 25mm, which can easily be read even from larger distances.
