| Zumbach Electronic AG, Switzerland, has recently introduced a new control and display unit, model SP 20, that is suitable for multiple or single electrode units. The new unit has been designed to be a stand-alone system or to be controlled from a host computer or Zumbach USYS processor. The rugged and reliable combination of proven and innovative technology has resulted in an economical unit, designed for applications where high- performance combined with auxiliary functions is essential.
The unit can be used on a bench, mounted onto a wall, fastened to a stand or integrated into a rack (available as 19" chassis). Maximum user friendliness is a primary feature of the SP 20. Direct function keys on a rugged and sealed control panel allow for simple operation. All system parameters are protected by security codes. The high-voltage generator is a fully encapsulated module which is an integral port of the electrode. This assures a simple and failsafe transmission of the control signals and fault alarms between control unit and electrode units.
