The company has recently developed its newly OTO�FF Line Multiplater, a complete reel-to-reel plant that is specially suitable for the copper wire industry, offering a �turn-key-basis� for wires in sizes ranging from 0.20 to 2.20mm �. Suitable for the continuous, sequential plating of up to 3 different layers (i.e. tin + tin / lead + silver on copper wire) in one single operation, the new line allows speeds of up to 180m/min and permits to manufacture layers with thickness of up to 20�m. The OTO�FF Line Multiplater is particularly suitable for manufacturers producing variable quantities and variable qualities of plated wire (gold, silver, nickel, tin, etc.) and features the following characteristics:
- Versatility: the plating section contains up to 3 different types of chemicals, which can be used as sequential triple layer or, bypassing, as a single layer. Small volumes of production can be planned as alternative option at low cost;
- Safety: all chemicals are stored into under tanks when using only one over the 3 options, but ready for next use. No need of hazard handling for changeover operation. No use of Cyanide Products;
- High productivity and thickness deposition;
- Accuracy: electronic control of speed, tension of wire and deposition parameters
