With over 50% of its production being exported to 26 countries, the company strives for superior quality and continuous process and product development.
To meet the growing demands of the industry, Shalimar Wires has recently commissioned the world�s latest up-casting technology for the production of copper-based alloy wires. This will also treble the current capacity of the facilities to meet a wider range of application. This technology allows the wire rod to be cast in a sound condition with lowest level of impurities. The grain structure is very uniform and it allows easy formability for cold heading applications. The technology was developed with wide in-house experience and it also allows the company to expand its alloy-based products to 11 alloys, while meeting the wire requirement of the tool room industry, electrodes, optical and several electronic and cold heading applications.
